Open Buffet Breakfast with a Bosphorus View in Üsküdar: Dilruba Istanbul
Dilruba Istanbul serves a Turkish open buffet breakfast inside Fethipaşa Grove in Üsküdar, on the Asian side of Istanbul, with terraces and dining rooms facing the Bosphorus. Breakfast is served every day except Monday, from 08:00 to 14:00. The restaurant is alcohol-free, has around 100 free parking spaces, and has operated in the same grove since 1996.
If you are looking for a quiet morning away from the crowds — trees behind you, the Bosphorus in front of you — Dilruba is one of the calmest breakfast addresses on the Asian side.
What breakfast in Fethipaşa Grove feels like
Fethipaşa Grove is one of Üsküdar's oldest and best-maintained public parks. The moment you enter, traffic noise gives way to birdsong. Dilruba's terraces look directly onto the Bosphorus, and in the early hours the light coming off the water is the single thing most guests remember.
When the weather allows, breakfast is served on the open terraces in front of the dining rooms. On cloudy or cold days, the indoor rooms — which also face the Bosphorus — are used instead. The view stays with you in every season.
What is on the buffet?
The buffet covers all the essentials of a classic Turkish breakfast: a range of cheeses, olives, butter, honey and clotted cream, homemade jams, seasonal greens, tomatoes and cucumbers, various fried dishes and pastries, fresh bread, and of course unlimited Turkish tea. A hot section offers eggs and menemen — Turkish scrambled eggs with tomatoes and peppers — prepared to order.
The buffet is refreshed regularly throughout the morning, so a guest arriving at 08:00 and a guest arriving at 13:00 find the same quality.
Our zero-waste principle: finish your plate, pay less
As part of our zero-waste approach, guests who leave no food on their plate or table pay a reduced price for the open buffet breakfast. The idea is simple: keep the generosity of an open buffet, but keep the food off the bin.
Take what you can finish, finish it, and go back for more if you want. It makes for a better breakfast and a much smaller pile of waste.
Families, corporate breakfasts and special occasions
Dilruba is an alcohol-free restaurant, which makes it a comfortable choice for families, guests with children, and guests who prefer an alcohol-free environment. During breakfast hours, the surrounding grove gives children plenty of open space.
We take group bookings for corporate breakfasts, morning meetings, birthdays and other special occasions. Separate room arrangements and tailored menus can be prepared for groups; please contact us in advance for these requests.
